Software Solutions
- Next.JS
A Next.JS Progressive Web Application (PWA) built to allow autobody shop employees to upload photos of vehicle assessments to their shared network server. The application features include photo selection, capture, compression, and upload, with status updates and progress tracking. Users are able to select photos from their device or take them from an in-app camera; photos are compressed, formatted, and then uploaded to the server on the shop's local network which writes the photos to their shared media drive for integration with their other software. The application scales performance to the user device's capabilities, enabling individuals with more capable devices to compress/upload photos quickly while also protecting lower end devices from crashing.
- Next.JS, Python
A Next.JS Web App similar to NYT's Connections but with added difficulty: the board is built by randomly selecting a category of each difficulty level from all past puzzles and additionally adding a new "random" category. Built on Next.JS using Python to scrape and process the data from past NYT Connections puzzles. This is a personal project and an ongoing work in progress. Future development includes completing the peripheral website outside of the game itself, and adding additional game modes for even further challenge - such as adding random categories to previous puzzles instead of grabbing individual categories from previous puzzles, and generating the random category from 2 randomly selected categories instead of 4 random words.
